EOS 60Da สามารถจับภาพปรากฏการณ์เนบิวลา(nebulae) ซึ่งเป็นที่ชื่นชอบในหมู่นักถ่ายภาพดวงดาว ที่สำคัญยังได้ภาพที่มีคุณภาพสูง ปรากฏการณ์เนบิวลานั้น ประกอบไปด้วยอะตอมไฮโดรเจน หลังจากที่ประจุไฮโดรเจนแตกตัว คลื่นแสงสีแดงของไฮโดนเจนอัลฟา (656nm) ที่สามารถมองเห็นได้ด้วยตาเปล่าจะถูกปล่อยออกมา จึงทำให้มองเห็นปรากฏการณ์เนบิวลาเป็นคลื่นแสงสีแดง EOS 60Da ยังได้พัฒนา low-pass filter ให้สามารถถ่ายคลื่นแสงไฮโดรเจนอัลฟาในห้วงอวกาศ (red hydrogen emission) ชัดกว่าเดิมถึง 3 เท่า นอกจากนี้ ยังสามารถจับภาพคลื่นแสงสีแดงได้อย่างคมชัด สดใสและคอนทราสต์สูงอีกด้วย

ช่วงความกว้างของ ISO
